Chad Kilgore is a self taught artist living in rural Missouri. He learned color and texture from a house full of antiques and unique objects in his mother and fathers home. He sets out to create the beauty only time and nature can create.
Working mainly in collage of layered paper that is stained, painted, ripped, cut, torn and sanded until the perfect texture is created. A constant building up and tearing down.
He has worked with designers, collectors, and clients across the US, Canada, and Europe. In 2018 he won a best in show award at the Architectural Digest Design Show. He has also worked with AD top 100 designer Amy Lau on a special commission in NYC.
